Audio Interviews and Teleseminars – Another Arsenal to your Digital Information Products
As we have been looking throughout the week, information products as the name suggests are products that provide information on a given topic and to a particular group of people.
It has been a tradition that more often than not when information products come up in conversation, e-books spring to mind of most people, but as we will see shortly there are also other kinds of digital information products, for example, there is the video and audio variety.
Today we are going to look into another simple method of providing digital information products by using an audio interview or telesminar. This is how it works:
For instance if you decide that you want to come up with a product to assist dog owners to train their animals then the first thing you need to do is find someone with experience at carrying out teleseminars or has the skills in general interviewing and then approach them for help.
The next step then is to identify an expert or an organization in the dog training field and ask them if they would like to be interviewed with respect to their work on dog training.
Once they accept for the interview, you will then ask them questions about how to train dogs, what they should be given to eat, how they are exercised and so on and so forth. During the interview all you have to do is record the question and answer session.
When the interview is completed you will put along any other snippets of information you consider would be useful to the dog owner. You can then have the content transcribed and there you have it – your audio interview and transcript which only took a few hours of your time to create is now ready to be packaged and sold as an information product.
To make audio interview information product more appealing and useful, it will be a great idea to add a few bonuses such as a special report about dog exercising or information on keeping your dog in good health. This increases the value of your product and makes you stand out from the competition.
As an alternative you could opt to conduct a telesminar using audio for your information product. Working in a similar way to the interview method, a teleseminar has other people present and the end of the call usually takes the form of a question and answer session.
Questions are answered during the call and you can provide all manner of tips and information on the subject. You are the expert in this field and have chosen to share your valuable knowledge with the members of your audience.
When the teleseminar is finished the transcription can also be packaged along with the audio and distributed as an information product.
In conclusion therefore audio interviews and teleseminar are also a simple and successful way to produce your digital information products.
