If there is one thing that most serious affiliate marketers, bloggers and webmasters are guilt of then it is one - always trying to write a well optimized post / page for the search engines at the cost and neglect of their human visitors!

Of course we could all love to write a post or page that gets immediately picked up by the search engine bots and then quickly gets indexed and rises to the top of the search engine result for a given keyword.

In the last week I have been discussing in details about SEO.

Today let us deviate from that and do something different. We are going to learn more on how to write a well optimized page for your human visitors.

I know that you have read over and over again articles like this one: How to Write Effective Web Content for Your Business Website. Of course the common preposition is that you should write content that your visitors will read, identify with and find useful and suited to their particular interest.

There is tremendous amount of success that comes from writing posts that focus in helping your visitors as opposed to spinning out well optimized pages that people tend to click the back arrow as soon as they arrive from the search engines.

So how do you get to write a well optimized page for human your human visitors?

If you want to write to your visitors, then you will have to learn and develop your writing skills. Writing a good page that resonates with your site visitors is a delicate skill that takes time to master. Of course the first step is to know who you are writing for and what kind of visitors you are attract and would want to attract and keep.

Now it’s important to remember that you can only be able to write effectively only if you have a particular niche in mind that you are catering for. It is increasingly becoming very hard to a wide generic mass. Leave that for yahoo.com or about.com which are massive sites with huge resources at their disposal.

Regardless of which niche you choose, 99% chances are that there are others who have also discovered the same niche. Each post you publish will be received by hundreds or thousands more posts with the same similar information as yours.

For example if you are an affiliate marketer chances are that for any post that you want to write for your human visitors promoting any of your best affiliate programs, the obvious scenario is that there will be other affiliate marketers promoting the same product or service.

Therefore the question is how do you write a post that people will actually get to read irrespective of all the other posts with almost the same product, service or content as yours?
