Who Are You?
We live in a world – fast paced environment where our lives, actions and deeds are defined by others, the society, leaders, celebrities and just about any other influential idea or person.
Christian’s belief in God the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit, so they live to emulate Christ life and deeds.
Muslims belief in Sharia, the Qur’an, Allah and his Prophet Mohammad. Don’t ask me about the extremists.
Scientist belief in evolution – That, all life on earth has descended down from a common ancestor and that over time living organisms underwent numerous processes of natural selection and survival for the fittest to arrive at our present state.
Most people all over the world belief in life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness and that we are all created equal.
Children’s grow up believing in something. Usually somebody they admire or something they like. You will see them playing with dolls or imitating their favorite video game character.
Have you not heard them say - When I grow up I want to be…(so an so)
Who Are You?
Have you forgotten yourself?
Just take a moment and remember, what did you want to be - When you grow up? Have you achieved that which you dreamed of when you were young? – When you started your immediate project? Have you accomplished your new year’s resolution?
Who Are You?
The so called internet gurus know this simple fact – The power of belief.
Take a moment and read just any of their sales letter. They know…that if they can make you belief in their product, in them and in yourself then they WILL continue to make money out of you.
Who are you? What do you belief in? What defines you?
There is no such thing as a “secret to make you succeed” in anything you want to do. If there was one then it’s YOU.
In anything you do, you must know yourself, you must understand yourself, you must define your motive…you must know who you are, what you belief in and what is it that you want to accomplish.
Now some people belief in celebrities, internet gurus, religious leaders…These are followers. They follow the crowd, tow along or make selective choices.
Depending on what line you choose, it can be beneficial or suicidal. Most important of all it matters. It really matters if the leader is for the good of his/her followers or is just another selfish individual with an hidden agenda.
Who Are You?
Some people know what they want in life, and stay focused. They spend all their energies and accomplish that which they set to achieve regardless of how many times they fail in trying to do so.
They move against common belief, they sieve through all the internet noise, they sail thorough the current waves and - They make it.
Who are you?
Some people spend their entire life, tying to do something. They do this, try that, give up then start something else. They follow the latest fad, another hot selling deal – one more secret.
Who Are You.
Some people are bystanders, they watch as great things happen. They marvel – wow how did s/he do that? They procrastinate; tomorrow I will do that, next week I will get started.
But they never get to do anything.
Who are you?
I have bought a lot of ebooks, read one advice to another, spend hours or even days surfing the internet – wanting to be like them. What a waste of time!
Before you ever try to do something here is my best advice – ask yourself this simple question first – Who are you?
Work on it. Reflect on it. Define yourself. Find yourself. Know what you stand for. Understand what you want to accomplish. Know everything about yourself and the business or project you want to pursue.
Go desperate. Blog it. Google it. Ask. Don’t stop until you know who truly you are.
Then only and only then will you venture out to seek those tools, resources or softwares’ that will help you accomplish your goal, desire or pursuit of happiness.
Who Are You? Maybe the video will do!
