Affiliate Marketing Associate Program Commission

If you are looking into ways to increase your sites traffic and revenue then you may want to offer an affiliate marketing associate program commission based incentive or a bonus to the list of your affiliate marketing plan strategy.

Going that extra mile and giving a little more to your customer is definitely one way to stand out from the rest of the crowd as far as competition is concerned. With a unique informational product or service - by offering an affiliate program or bonus, it will be appreciated by those associated with you and it is an ideal way to make your business grow to a great success.

As an affiliate marketer you need to be different as compared to other affiliate marketers and the best way to do this is to offer a bonus of some description for those making a purchase through your affiliate link. 

This works particularly well when you are promoting products at the high end of the market which are more often than not quite expensive to buy.

For instance, an extremely well known internet marketer is about to launch his latest and most waited course entitled “How to Get More Traffic to your Website.”  As a recognized guru, this marketer will have a small army of affiliates ready and waiting to send promotional emails to their lists on launch date.  

How can you possibly compete with this situation?

  • First, with the well known internet marketer who is offering an affiliate marketing associate program commission to his army of affiliates?
  • And secondly with other smart affiliate marketers who are offering bonus?

It’s quite simple, remember the old saying that “if you can’t beat them – join them”

That is an affiliate business marketing strategy that also needs to be added to your list of marketing ideas.

Here is what you can do:

1.) Take some time to devise a special promotion for those customers who make a purchase by using your link.  This special offer may vary depending on your services and product but you could, for example, offer a private tele-class where you show some of the affiliate’s tips you have picked up.

2.) Another idea is to record an interview with transcribed notes on a subject related to your product or service.  If you have a little spare time on your hands you could even offer one to one coaching, but limits need to be set on this kind of opportunity.

3.) People are always interested in discounts and this is something else you could consider for those making purchases via your link.  If, for example, you are promoting something with a ticket price of $950 for which you will receive $475 in commission, it may be worth your while to offer a $100 dollar or so discount to the customer buying through your link.  Most people love a bargain and knowing they will get a discount will encourage them to buy from you.

4.) Another way is to have your own products and services and the offer an affiliate marketing associate program commission to your clients. Your clients will be sending you traffic to your products and in turn you can offer an upsell or a onetime offer at your thank you page to products that you are affiliated to.

However, there are a few programs that may not approve of such discounts being given so it is always best to carry out your homework and find out if a discount is appropriate by contacting the program manager to ask any questions you may have.

Bear in mind, the more you put into a product you believe in, in terms of effort and time, the better the results will be.  People will notice your hard work and trust that you have faith in the product you are promoting which can only result in an increase in your army of affiliates and sales levels.
